We’ve lost something in the workplace today – the fact that we’re dealing with human beings that want to be trusted to do good work. I’ve read about a concept called ROWE (Results-Only Work Environment) that seems to be aiming to bring us all to this simple core truth. It’s taken hold at Best Buy’s corporate headquarters where people say they’ll never leave and productivity is going through the roof. I’d encourage anyone interested in learning more about this movement to visit the Web site and blog of the creators, Cali Ressler and Jody Thompson. www.caliandjody.com/blog.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/5743637192841073078/2718113056898576576/comments/default/1257685698806099005'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/5743637192841073078/2718113056898576576/comments/default/1257685698806099005'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://bjcarlsen.blogspot.com/2008/01/love-as-engaging-force-in-workplace.html?showComment=1201274520000#c1257685698806099005' title=''/><author><name>JesseG42</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/01791024140960284945</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://bjcarlsen.blogspot.com/2008/01/love-as-engaging-force-in-workplace.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5743637192841073078.post-2718113056898576576' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/5743637192841073078/posts/default/2718113056898576576' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='blogger.itemClass' value='pid-1219520228'/><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='blogger.displayTime' value='January 25, 2008 7:22 AM'/></entry></feed>
